Official visa fee
The standard Schengen visa fee is €90 (adults) and €45 (children 6–11). Children under 6 are free. This fee is non-refundable even if your visa is refused. Some nationalities pay less under bilateral agreements — Egyptians pay the full €90.
VFS Global service fee
VFS Global collects visa applications in Egypt on behalf of most European embassies. Their service fee is typically €30–45, charged in addition to the embassy fee. This fee is also non-refundable.

Travel insurance: €15–40 per trip (required, minimum €30,000 coverage)
Flight reservation: some services charge €5–15 for a dummy booking
Hotel reservation: similar cost if not booking directly
