To prepare your application we process the passport image you upload and the answers you provide in the AI interview (such as your travel purpose, dates, and funding).

We do not collect or store your physical documents, and we never ask you to mail anything to us.

If you choose an optional reservation, we process the confirmed travel plan, traveller names, dates, destination, visa category, and the provider reference and policy needed to search, hold, confirm, cancel, reconcile, and support that reservation. A certified provider or licensed travel partner receives only the information needed for the selected service and may require additional traveller data before fulfilment; the checkout does not send card data to the AI wizard.

We store the provider-issued confirmation, a clearly labelled Schengy summary, reservation status, expiry, cancellation deadline, and limited provenance metadata in the application record. Raw supplier payloads and secrets are not exposed to the browser or assistants. Reservation data is retained only for the application, support, accounting, legal, and provider-reconciliation purposes that apply, subject to the retention schedule established before launch.

When you choose Voice Mode, your microphone audio is streamed securely to our realtime transport and speech providers so Schengy can understand you and speak back. We do not store raw microphone recordings or raw Tarek audio.

The words shown in your transcript and the structured voice status needed to continue your conversation are kept with the relevant chat or application. General voice history is stored as text turns under your account; deleting your account removes those turns and the related voice metadata.

Voice analytics contain only anonymous state, device capability, and timing information. They never include your words, captions, prompts, or audio.

The Portal Companion is a Chrome extension that runs inside your browser. It fills only certified sections on supported portals such as finlandvisa.fi and Visa On Web using data from your Schengy vault.

Your portal password, session cookies, and browsing data never leave your Chrome profile. The extension does not transmit these to Schengy's servers or any third party.

The extension communicates with Schengy only to receive your application data (via an encrypted one-time pairing code) and to report status updates. It never has access to your portal credentials.

Pairing between the extension and your Schengy session uses a one-time code that expires after a short window. The code establishes an encrypted tunnel for data transfer.

No persistent authentication tokens are stored on either side. Each new session requires a fresh pairing code.

The extension's content scripts run only on explicitly permitted domains (including finlandvisa.fi, Visa On Web, Schengy, and separately supported provider portals) and do not inject code into other websites.

All files in your Visa Vault are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS. They are private by default — only you can decrypt and download them.

Schengy staff cannot read the contents of your encrypted documents.

Your data is purged immediately upon application deletion. When you delete an application from the Visa Vault, the associated files are removed.

You remain in control: you can delete any file at any time from the Vault.

Portal Companion session data (pairing codes, status logs) is ephemeral and automatically expires. No portal interaction data is retained beyond the active session.

We never sell your personal information. We never share your data with third parties for advertising.

We never receive or store your portal passwords, session cookies, or browser history. The Portal Companion operates independently of Schengy's servers for all portal interactions.

Schengy is an independent technology provider and does not transmit your data to any government agency, embassy, or VFS Global on your behalf.
